THE SINGLE FRAME is an experiment in attention.
In this workshop, we will make just one photograph.
Rather than chasing many images, we’ll slow down and work with attention, perception, and the body in space.
Through a series of simple exercises, we’ll practice ways of seeing: waiting, noticing, and making contact with the environment around us.
The goal isn’t to produce a “great” photo. It’s to experience what happens when we inhabit a moment long enough for a single frame to emerge.
Participants will make one image and reflect on the process of making it, leaving with a different relationship to the act of photographing.
No photography experience necessary, just curiosity and an openness to the act of seeing.
Limited spots available to keep the workshop discussion-focused.
✦ Note: A mobile phone with a camera is required for participation.
✦ Recommended: Please wear clothing you are comfortable moving in.
