December 3 – 6:30pm–8:30pm – illuminate: a lantern making workshop with Kim Barzola
As the days grow shorter and the evenings settle into darkness, join us for an evening of light, sound, and collective creative exploration. Illuminate is a hands-on lantern-making workshop led by interdisciplinary artist Kim Villafuerte Barzola (@kmizola) at Still Life Studios in Cambridge.
Through an exploration of materials, form, and illumination, participants are invited to create their own sculptural lanterns using upcycled and natural materials. Accompanied by a curated soundscape, this workshop offers a space to slow down, experiment, and commune. Together, we’ll explore the ways light can be shaped, held, and transformed all while creating something luminous of our own making.
No prior experience is necessary. All materials provided with registration.
