Practice sewing basics in this fun upcycling class with Claudia of Bushwood Tailors Opportunity Shop. In this workshop, we’ll take secondhand towels and transform them into cute terrycloth lounge shorts – a perfect pair for summertime.
We’ll use a simple pattern that we can adjust to each of our measurements. You’ll have the option to mix and match colors for each panel and a back pocket.
What we’ll provide: Clean secondhand towels, sewing supplies, and use of a sewing machine. All the instruction and guidance you’ll need to complete the project!
What to bring (optional): Your own secondhand towels that you’d like to give new life to.
Optional upgrades: We’ll have a few extra special vintage patterned towels for sale at an additional cost.
